  • 3 Zwiebäcke

Directions

Peel and halve the onion and cut into thin slices. Heat 20 grams of fat in a frying pan and fry the onion slices in it until transparent. Drain the anchovy fillets. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into 1/2 centimetre thick slices. Put half of the potatoes in a greased, flat casserole dish and add 3/4 of the onions. Spread anchovy fillets on top and cover with the remaining potatoes and onions.

Bring milk and cream to the boil, season with a little salt and pepper and pour evenly over the casserole. Grate the onions finely and sprinkle over the potato slices. Spread the remaining fat in small flakes on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200°C/ gas: level 3) for 45 minutes. Wash the dill, dab dry and pluck into little flags. Spread on the casserole five to ten minutes before the end of cooking time
