Peel, wash and finely dice the potatoes and carrots. Clean, wash and cut leek into fine rings. Wash and clean the chilli pepper. Melt the fat in a pot. Brown the potatoes and carrots in it.
Add stock and chilli, bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Cut the sausages into slices. Add sausages and leek and cook for the last 4-5 minutes. Stir in the mashed potatoes and let it swell for 1 minute. Stir again, season to taste with salt and pepper.
Take out the chili pepper. Arrange soup in bowls.
