Goat cheese in bacon coat with salad

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Balsamic vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 3-4 Tbsp Pumpkin seed oil (e.g. from the Zanzibar)
  • 200 g mixed leaf salads (e.g. radicchio, pickled salad, rocket and batavia)
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 4 Goat cheese thaler (approx. 40 g each)
  • 8 thin slices of bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil

Directions

    For the salad, mix vinegar with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar. Stir in pumpkin seed oil carefully. Clean and wash the lettuce leaves and pluck into bite-sized pieces. Wash and halve tomatoes.

    Mix with the vinaigrette.

    Wrap each goat cheese with 2 slices of bacon. Heat oil in a coated pan. Fry the cheese taler in it while turning for 2-3 minutes until the bacon is crispy. Arrange on the salad. Baguette tastes good with it.
