Fried Feta in crispy almond coating on salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Rocket salad
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 50 g black olives
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Tomato ketchup
  • 3 TABLESPOONS mayonnaise
  • 600 g Feta cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 50 g flaked almonds

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the lettuce and peppers into strips. Peel and halve the onion and cut into thin rings. Wash cucumber, peel if necessary, quarter lengthwise and cut into pieces. Mix 3 tablespoons zi-trone juice, salt, pepper and a little sugar.

    Fold 2 tablespoons of olive oil underneath. Mix the salad ingredients and olives with the vinaigrette.

    Mix ketchup, mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cut cheese into 6-8 slices. Whisk egg. Mix breadcrumbs and flaked almonds. Turn the cheese first in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs mixture.

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a coated frying pan. Fry the feta on each side until golden brown. Serve the feta with salad and cocktail sauce. Goes well with baguette.
