Fig in port wine with pistachio ice cream

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh figs
  • 1/4 l red port wine
  • 4 scoops of pistachio ice cream
  • 1 TABLESPOON crushed pistachio kernels
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon balm

Directions

    Halve the figs and put them in a pot with the port wine. Steam for about 5 minutes at a mild heat. Place 2 fig halves and some port wine stock on each plate. Add a ball of ice cream and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.

    Dust the edge of the plate with icing sugar and decorate the dessert with lemon balm.
