Cover the almonds in a pot with water and boil them briefly. Pour them into a sieve and quench them with cold water. Now press them out of the skin with your fingers and let them dry. Cut the seeds in 2 halves at the "seam". Preheat the oven: Electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection: 150 °C/ gas: stage 2. Grates the marzipan roughly into a mixing bowl
Separate two eggs now. Add the egg whites, 125 g icing sugar and flour to the bowl and knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer until smooth. Divide it into 3 parts. Roll out 2 parts with moistened hands a total of approx. 40 balls. Form from the 3rd part for the caps approx. 20 cones and put them on a baking tray covered with baking paper
Press in 20 balls 2 almond halves each as feet and arms. Put them on the baking tray and carefully press one ball each as a head on it. Whisk the egg yolks and milk, spread on men and caps. Bake them for 15-20 minutes. Let them cool down.
Beat 1 egg white, juice and 250 g icing sugar until creamy. Colour half red and 1 tablespoon blue. Spread the caps with red icing, paint noses and mouths and let it dry. Fill white and blue icing in 1 piping bag each, close them. Cut off the tip of the bag of white icing. Glue the caps with a little bit of cast on the heads
Then spray moustaches and beards with the remaining white cast and decorate the caps with it. Knead the tube of sugar writing well until it is soft. Finally, cut a small point off the other piping bag and paint eyes and buttons on the dwarves with blue cast and sugar writing. Then let everything dry well
