Marzipan-fried apples with vanilla sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 TABLESPOON Raisins
  • 100 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 3 tablespoons (30 g) chopped almonds
  • 4 sour apples
  • 7-10 Tbsp (e.g. Boskop, approx. 200 g each)
  • 4-5 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/8 l apple juice
  • 1 package Powdered sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp "Vanilla"
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) Sugar
  • 1/2 l Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Raisins, almonds and
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint

    175 °C / gas: level 3). Wash the raisins, let them drain and cut the marzipan into coarse cubes. Now knead marzipan, 1 tablespoon raisins and chopped almonds evenly with your hands and divide it into 4 pieces. Then form rolls of it about 1 cm thick. Wash the apples and cut a lid off each

    Cut out the core with an apple corer or hollow out the apples with a knife. Fill 1 marzipan roll into each hole and press it firmly into place. Put the apples into 4 fireproof moulds or 1 fireproof mould. Sprinkle them with lemon and apple juice and roast them in the oven for about 25 minutes. Add the apple lids and fry at the same temperature for another 5 minutes.

    In the meantime, mix sauce powder, sugar and 3 tablespoons of milk. Let the remaining milk boil up briefly in a small pot. Take it off the stove (possibly on a saucepan mat) and add the sauce powder while stirring constantly. Put the pot back on the stove and let the vanilla sauce boil up briefly

    Now switch off the oven. Take out the baked apples with the help of potholders. Spread the vanilla sauce over them and sprinkle the baked apples with a few raisins and almonds as desired. Place the apple lids on top, decorate them with mint leaves if desired and serve everything immediately
