Prawn skewer on salad

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 12 raw peeled shrimps (about 300 g; fresh or frozen)
  • 1 small onion
  • 150-200 g cherry tomatoes
  • 125 g Lamb's lettuce
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Lime juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, sugar
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 sticks of lemon grass or 4 wooden skewers
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Asian sauce

Directions

    Defrost the frozen shrimps. Peel onion and chop very finely. Wash and halve the tomatoes. Clean, wash and drain the salad. Mix 2 tablespoons lime juice and 1-2 tablespoons water with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar. Fold in 2 tablespoons of oil. Mix with onion and tomatoes

    Clean and wash lemon grass and cut it in half lengthwise or water wooden skewers. Wash the shrimps, dab dry and skewer 3 pieces each. Peel and chop the garlic

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan. Fry the prawn skewers and garlic for 1-2 minutes, turning them over. Season with salt and pepper

    Arrange salad on plates. Place skewers on top. Deglaze the roast with 2 tbsp. water, asia sauce and 1 tbsp. lime juice and spread over the skewers. Fresh baguette tastes good with it

    Drink: cool white wine
