1 Wash the orange and lemon thoroughly and rub dry. Finely grate the peel. Cut orange and lemon in half and squeeze the juice. Place in a pot with wine, orange juice, lemon and orange peel and sugar.
Heat and stir several times to dissolve the sugar.
Pour rum into the hot punch. In the meantime, wash 1 orange thoroughly, rub dry and cut into slices. Depending on the size, cut the slices into quarters if necessary.
Arrange oranges in glasses. Pour the punch. Put orange slices on wooden skewers and decorate glasses with them.
