Ingredients

  • 300 g Walnut kernels
  • 100 g Butter or margarine
  • 300 g Wholemeal wheat flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Cinnamon
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Cocoa powder
  • 200 g Honey
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper

Directions

    Grind 100 g walnuts, chop the rest. Cut the fat into small cubes. Knead flour, ground walnuts, cinnamon, cocoa, honey and fat. Wrap in cling film and chill for about 1 hour.

    Roll out the dough thinly, cut out stars and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and press down lightly. Bake in a preheated oven (electric: 200 °C / gas: level 3) for 8-10 minutes. Results in approx. 80 pieces
