  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 coated Tsp Baking Powder
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 100 g soft butter
  • 50 g Whole milk couverture
  • 50 g Dark chocolate coating
  • 75 g Icing sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp yellow, green and red food colouring
  • 7-10 Tbsp red sugar lettering
  • 7-10 Tbsp colourful sugar beads and decorative confetti
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cardboard
  • baking paper

Directions

    Cut a template for chimney sweeps (approx. 10 cm large) out of cardboard. Mix flour and baking powder and put it into a mixing bowl with sugar, vanilla sugar, egg and butter. Knead with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Work into a smooth dough with cool hands. Cover and chill for about 1 hour.

    Roll out on a lightly floured work surface and cut out 9 chimney sweeps using the template. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 10-15 minutes. Let them cool down. Coarsely chop the chocolate coating and melt in a water bath, cover the chimney sweep (except for face, bow tie and shoes) with chocolate coating. Decorate as you like with a ladder and sugar pearls. Leave to dry. Mix icing sugar and lemon juice to a firm glaze. Divide the icing into three parts and colour with yellow, green and red food colouring. Colour the bow tie and shoes with the icing.
