Ingredients

  • 500 g mixed berries (e.g. raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and currants)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Peel of 1 untreated orange
  • 1 Cloves
  • 1/2 l Raspberry Spirit
  • 1/2 l dry red wine
  • 300 g white candy

Directions

    Select the berries, wash and drain well. Clean the strawberries, brush the currants from the panicles. Pour the berries, orange peel and clove into a large preserving jar (approx. 1 l capacity). Fill up with raspberry brandy and close. Let stand at room temperature for 6-8 weeks. Put the berries on a gauze cloth or fine sieve and let them drip off. Squeeze the berries lightly.

    Collect the liquid. Simmer red wine and rock candy while stirring for 3-5 minutes until the rock candy has dissolved. Leave to cool. Then mix with the berry liquid. Pour everything again through a gauze cloth or fine sieve. Pour the liqueur into clean bottles and close them. Leave to steep for at least 4-6 weeks
