Berry jam with almonds

Ingredients

  • 1.2 kg mixed berries (e.g. raspberries, redcurrants and blueberries)
  • 1 package (350 g) Diet Gelling Fructose
  • 7-10 Tbsp (for 1000 g of fruit)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) Almond slivers

Directions

    Pick the berries, remove the currants from the stalks. Wash berries, possibly except raspberries. Weigh 1 kg of fruit

    Mix berries and fructose in a large pot. Bring everything to the boil while stirring over high heat. Then boil for at least 3 minutes while stirring continuously until bubbly

    Stir in the almonds. If necessary, skim off the jam and immediately fill it up to the brim into prepared glasses (e.g. with twist-off lid). Seal and let cool upside down
