Ingredients

  • 300 g sour apples
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 50 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 75 ml Oil
  • 150 g Schmand
  • 30 Paper baking cups (bottom 5 cm Ø)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Marzipan
  • 7-10 Tbsp Food colouring
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pistachio kernels
  • 7-10 Tbsp Currants
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cloves

Directions

    Peel apples, quarter them and cut out the core. Cut the fruit flesh into small pieces and sprinkle with lemon juice. Finely chop the marzipan. Mix flour and baking powder. Add sugar, vanillin sugar, cinnamon and salt, eggs, oil, sour cream and marzipan.

    Use the dough hook of the hand mixer to make a smooth dough. Fold in apple pieces. Put approx. 2 paper baking cups into each other and fill them to 3/4 with dough. Bake in the preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Decorate as desired with homemade apple slices of marzipan, Lewbensmittle colour, pistachios, currants and cloves
