Wraps with Caesar Salad

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 600 g Chicken filets
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1/2 bunch Chives
  • 2-3 Garlic cloves
  • 250 g Salad Mayonnaise
  • 300 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 3 discs Toast
  • 30 g Butter or margarine
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS freeze-dried salad herbs
  • 1 (approx. 200 g) small romaine lettuce
  • 50 g sliced parmesan cheese
  • 2 packages (each 280 g = 4 pieces) wrap tortillas
  • 7-10 Tbsp sandwich paper/parchment paper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Kitchen yarn

Directions

    Wash the chicken fillets and pat them dry. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fillets for about 10 minutes, turning them over. Season with salt and pepper, remove from the pan and let cool off. Wash the chives, dab dry and chop finely. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Mix mayonnaise, yoghurt, garlic, chives and lemon peel.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper. Finely dice toast. Heat the fat in a pan and fry the dices until crispy. Finally add dried salad herbs and mix in. Remove from the pan and let it cool down. Clean, wash and cut the salad into strips. Cut the chicken meat in half lengthwise and cut into thin slices. Mix chicken, salad, croutons and parmesan slices with about half of the garlic sauce. Spread the wraps with a tablespoon of garlic sauce and add some salad mix (leave the edges free). Wrap the sides of the wraps, roll up the wraps and cut them diagonally. Wrap each half in a strip of sandwich paper and tie together with kitchen string.

    Clean, wash and cut the salad into strips. Cut the chicken meat in half lengthwise and cut into thin slices. Mix chicken, salad, croutons and parmesan slices with about half of the garlic sauce. Spread the wraps with a tablespoon of garlic sauce and add some salad mix (leave the edges free). Wrap the sides of the wraps, roll up the wraps and cut them diagonally. Wrap each half in a strip of sandwich paper and tie together with kitchen string. Place in a lunch box. Fill the rest of the salad dressing in a bottle and serve with the wraps
