Peel and halve the pears, remove the core. Put them in a pan thinly coated with oil. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the pears with it (set aside 1 teaspoon sugar mixture) and season with cloves. Pour on wine. Cover and stew for about 10 minutes.
Reduce temperature and boil down juice in an open pot until syrupy. Stir yoghurt until smooth. Let the pears cool down lukewarm. Serve with syrup and yoghurt. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and decorate with lemon balm
