Warm cheese sandwiches

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 small pepper (e.g. red)
  • 50 g cooked ham or Kasseler cold cuts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil
  • 8 discs Wholemeal toast
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lettuce and carrots

Directions

    Wash the cucumber, halve lengthwise and remove seeds. Clean and wash the peppers. Finely dice cucumber, paprika and ham. Grate cheese coarsely or dice finely. Mix everything. Season to taste with salt and pepper

    Preheat the sandwich toaster and coat with oil. Spread the cheese mixture on 4 slices of toast. Place 1 slice of toast on each and press on

    Bake 2 toasts in a sandwich toaster one after the other until golden brown. Halve diagonally if necessary, garnish with salad and carrots

    Drink: cool juice spritzer
