Piadina with rocket & ham

Ingredients

Servings: 16
  • 150 g Fresh cream
  • 50 g Pesto (glass)
  • 3 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 100 g Arugula (rocket)
  • 16 thin slices of cooked ham (approx. 25 g each)

Directions

    Mix the crème fraîche and pesto. Wash the tomatoes and cut into thin slices. Clean, wash and shake dry the rocket

    Place the tortillas next to each other on the work surface. Spread with pesto cream. Cover with 2 slices of ham, 3-4 tomato slices and some rocket salad. Leave an approx. 2 cm wide edge all around. Finely slice Parmesan cheese with a peeler. Roll up tortillas tightly

    Grill in the preheated contact grill at medium heat in portions for about 5 minutes each, until golden brown. Cut the piadina crosswise. Arrange and garnish with the rest of the rocket salad

    Piadina is a kind of Italian wrap. The thin flat bread is usually warmed up in the oven, filled and eaten warm immediately. If you do not have a contact grill, warm the tortillas beforehand according to the instructions on the package
