Put rice in boiling salted water and let it swell at low heat for 15-20 minutes. Wash the turkey, dab dry and cut into strips. Peel and finely chop the onion.
Heat the oil in a coated pan and fry the turkey meat in it in portions. Season with salt, pepper and some curry. Add onions and fry briefly. Deglaze with 1/4 litre of water and stir in the sauce powder.
Bring to the boil and add the peas. Let everything braise for about 5 minutes. Clean, wash and cut lettuce into strips. Season with salt, pepper and curry. Fold in the lettuce strips just before serving.
Drain the rice and serve with the shredded meat.
