Turkey skewers with plums

Ingredients

  • 6 Tomatoes
  • 2 small onions
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Balsamic vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 2 stem(s) Basil
  • 320 g Turkey Breast
  • 12 Prunes without stone
  • 12 discs Bacon
  • 4 Stem(s) Thyme
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil

Directions

    Wash, clean and cut the tomatoes into eighths. Peel and halve onions and cut them into fine rings. Season vinegar with salt, pepper and sugar. Beat olive oil into it. Wash the basil, pluck the leaves from the stalks and chop.

    Mix tomatoes, onions and basil with the vinaigrette. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into cubes of about 3 cm. Wrap 1 plum with a slice of bacon around each. Put 4 turkey cubes and 3 plums alternately on 1 skewer each. Pluck the thyme leaves from the stalks. Season the skewers with thyme leaves, salt and pepper. Brush with oil. Cover the grill with aluminium foil and grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning them over. Serve the salad with the skewers.
