Turkey drumstick with braised vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1.3 kg Turkey thigh
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 Leek sticks (leek)
  • 500 g small tomatoes
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 50 ml White wine
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley

Directions

    Place the clay pot in cold water for 15 minutes. Wash the turkey leg, dab dry and rub with salt and pepper. Put the meat in the clay pot and put it covered in the cold oven. Fry everything at (electric cooker 200 ° C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 1 3/4 hours. In the meantime peel, wash and slice the potatoes. Peel garlic and chop finely. Add potatoes and garlic to the meat 45 minutes before the end of the cooking time.

    Season with salt and pepper. Add stock and wine. Clean and wash the tomatoes and leek. Halve the tomatoes and cut the leek into pieces. Add leek and tomatoes for the last 15 minutes. Wash parsley and chop finely, except for something to garnish. Sprinkle turkey and vegetable pot with parsley before serving and garnish
