Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 kg Turkey Breast
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 500 g Carrots
  • 2 Onions
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • some stem(s) Oregano or 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Apricot Jam
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Sesame seeds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil

Directions

    Rinse turkey breast cold and pat dry. Oil the fat pan of the oven. Rub the roast with salt and pepper and place on top. Roast in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 45 minutes. Peel and wash the potatoes and carrots. Cut potatoes into slices, carrots into pieces.

    Peel onions and cut into sticks. Add vegetables to the frying pan after 15 minutes cooking time. Drizzle oil over them. Season with salt, pepper and oregano and braise for 15 minutes. Then coat the roast with jam and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Pour 200 ml water on the vegetables and cook for another 15 minutes
