Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 1/4 l Mirin (sweet rice wine) or cream sherry
  • 1/4 l Soy sauce
  • 1/4 l clear chicken stock (instant)

Directions

    Heat Mirin in a wide pot, take it off the stove, light it. While doing so, tilt the pot slightly until the flame goes out. Pour in soy sauce and chicken soup, bring to the boil

    Tip: Teriyaki sauce is available ready to buy, but since you need a large quantity for marinating and glazing, it is cheaper to mix it yourself quickly
