Tagliatelle with cheese sauce, zucchini and ham

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Courgettes (about 150 g)
  • 1 small onion
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 250 g Whipped cream
  • 200 g red and white ribbon noodles
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 (62.5 g each) Corners Cream processed cheese (50 % fat in dry matter)
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS sauce thickener
  • 150 g cooked ham in thick slices
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper

Directions

    Wash the zucchini, dab dry and cut into cubes. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat fat in a pot, fry onions and zucchini and add cream. Bring to the boil and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

    Meanwhile cook the ribbon noodles in plenty of boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes. Stir the processed cheese into the hot cream and melt in it. Allow the sauce thickener to trickle in and bring the sauce briefly to the boil again.

    Cut the ham into strips and add to the hot sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour the pasta onto a sieve, quench and drain. Arrange the noodles on plates and spread the sauce over them.
