Ingredients

  • 1 pack of (500 g) "Base mix butter-sprinkled biscuits
  • 150 g Butter or margarine
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS redcurrant jelly
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 5 wooden skewers

Directions

    Knead baking mix, fat and eggs. Cover and put in a cool place for about 30 minutes. Roll out on a floured work surface approx. 1/2 cm thick. Cut out 5 stars of 12 cm, 10.5 cm, 9 cm, 7.5 cm Ø and 20 stars of 4.5 cm Ø. Place on two baking trays lined with baking paper. Warm the jelly and spread the stars on it.

    Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for 10-14 minutes. Prick small holes in the middle of the still hot stars. Leave to cool. Put 5 stars of different sizes with 3 very small stars in between on wooden skewers. Dust with icing sugar
