Orange Jelly

Ingredients

  • 9 sheets white gelatine
  • 10 big oranges
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 2 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 1/4 l Rosé wine
  • 1/2 l Milk
  • 1 Pächchen dessert sauce (vanilla flavor
  • 6 Cinnamon stars

Directions

    Soak gelatine in plenty of cold water. 2 oranges so that the white skin is removed and cut into slices. Squeeze the remaining oranges. (Results in 1/2 litre juice) Juice, 150 g sugar and vanillin sugar warm up lukewarm. Remove from the stove. Add wine, squeeze gelatine and dissolve in it. Place all but 6 orange slices in glasses to garnish. Fill with the juice.

    Chill for about 2 hours. In the meantime, mix 3 tablespoons of milk, sauce powder and remaining sugar. Bring the remaining milk to the boil, add the sauce powder and bring to the boil while stirring. Leave to cool. Before serving, spread on the jelly. Garnish with retained orange slices and cinnamon stars
