Our Danish neighbours simply know how to make delicious sandwiches. We are especially fond of Smørrebrød with salmon.

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 red onions
  • 4 Disc/s (à 75 g) light Sylt bread (light country bread)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Butter
  • 12 Disc/s (à 25 g) smoked salmon
  • 125 g Crayfish meat
  • 40 g Capers (glass)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Lime juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Onions peel, finely dice. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on each slice of bread, cut into three. Cover with 1 slice of salmon. Spread crab meat, onions and capers on top. Sprinkle with lime juice and season with pepper.
