Ingredients

  • 175 g Comté cheese
  • 80 g cooked ham
  • 350 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 TEASPOON Salt
  • 1 TEASPOON Sugar
  • 1/2 glass (approx. 100 g) drained roasted peppers
  • 300 g Fresh cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Rose peppers
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and breadcrumbs

Directions

    Dice 125 cheese. Grate 50 g of cheese finely. Dice ham. Put flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl and mix well. Add eggs, milk, oil, salt and sugar and mix to a smooth dough with the dough hooks of the hand mixer.

    Fold in ham and diced cheese. Grease a muffin tin (12 troughs) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread dough in it. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 25-30 minutes.

    In the meantime, finely mash the peppers and mix with crème fraîche. Season with salt and rose paprika. Sprinkle grated cheese on top 10 minutes before the end of the baking time. Remove and leave to rest in the pan for approx. 5 minutes.

    Serve muffins cold or lukewarm. Serve with dip.
