Roasted goat cheese thaler

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 Rolls (115 g each) Goat's cheese (French soft cheese made from goat milk)
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 4 (approx. 40 g) wafer-thin slices of air-dried ham
  • 1 TABLESPOON Pesto
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp cherry tomatoes, lemon, basil and salad leaf

Directions

    Cut cheese into 8 slices. Wash the zucchini and cut off 4 thin, wide slices lengthwise. (Add the rest of the courgettes as small cubes to the vinaigrette or use them otherwise). Wrap 4 cheese taler with one zucchini slice each, pin them.

    Wrap the remaining thalers in one slice of ham each and pin them down. Mix pesto and lemon juice. Fry the goat's cheese parcels in hot oil for 1-2 minutes on each side and serve. Drizzle with the vinaigrette.

    Garnish with cherry tomatoes, lemon, lettuce leaves and basil.
