Roast pork with pears

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Pork roll roast
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 750 g baby potatoes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 TEASPOON Sweet peppers
  • 1/2 TEASPOON dried thyme
  • 750 g ripe pears
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 red peppers
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

    Rub the meat all around with salt and pepper. Place in a large roaster. Pour on 1/8 litre of boiling water. Roast the roast in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 ° C/ gas: level 4) for about 1 1/2 hours.

    Peel and wash the potatoes, dab dry with kitchen paper and mix with 1/2 teaspoon salt, oil, paprika and thyme. 45 minutes before the end of the cooking time, put them on one side of the roaster. Wash, peel, quarter and core the pears.

    Sprinkle with lemon juice. Clean, wash and chop the peppers. Heat the fat in a pot. Swivel the pears and peppers in it and place them on the other side of the roast 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time.

    Turn the potatoes once. Let the roast rest for ten minutes before cutting. Arrange everything on a plate and garnish with parsley.
