Peel onions and garlic. Cut 1 onion into thin strips and chop garlic. Dab meat dry. Chop half roughly. Cut the rest of the meat into strips.
For the gyros, mix 1 tablespoon of oil, pepper, dried herbs, cumin, coriander and half of garlic. Mix with the meat and onion strips. Cover and put in a cool place for at least 30 minutes.
For the skewers, clean and wash the peppers and cut them into large pieces. Cut 1 onion into slices. Quarter the bacon. Put meat cubes, paprika, bacon and onion slices alternately on skewers.
For the tzatziki, wash and clean the cucumber. Slice or slice half of the cucumber thinly. Peel and grate the rest of the cucumber and let it drain on a sieve. Mix yoghurt, sour cream and the rest of garlic.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Preheat oven (electric cooker: 100°C/circulating air: not suitable/gas: see manufacturer). Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Fry the skewers in it in 2 portions all around for 12-15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Warm the finished skewers in a hot oven.
Heat the pan without adding oil. Fry the marinated gyros for 8-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Stir the grated cucumber into the tzatziki. Peel the vegetable onion and cut into thin rings.
Do everything. Garnish with onion rings, cucumber, pepperoni and olives. French fries taste good with it.
