Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 package Vanilla custard powder (for cooking)
  • 6 TABLESPOONS + 120 g sugar
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 1 kg Plums
  • 7-10 Tbsp 1 1⁄2 Pack of crunchy flakes (approx. 210 g; e.g. from Zetti)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film

Directions

  1. 1

Mix the pudding powder with 6 tbsp. sugar and stir with 100 ml milk until smooth. Boil 300 ml milk in a pot. Stir the pudding powder into the boiling milk, bring to the boil and simmer for about 1 minute.

  2. 2

Take it off the stove. Stir in the mascarpone. Pour into a bowl, cover directly on the surface with foil and allow to cool.

  3. 3

In the meantime, wash the plums, cut them in half and stone them. Caramelise 120 g sugar in a pan until golden brown. Add the plums and stew for 5-7 minutes at medium heat, turning them over. Remove the fruit from the heat and let it cool down.

  4. 4

Stir the pudding until smooth. Place caramelized plums, pudding cream and crunchy flakes alternately in a glass bowl and chill until serving.
