Plum-apricot chutney

Ingredients

  • 500 g Plums
  • 500 g Apricots
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 200 g brown or white sugar
  • 150 ml Red wine vinegar
  • 1 TABLESPOON mustard seeds, 1 tsp salt

Directions

    Washing fruit. Carve the apricots crosswise, if necessary, blanch, quench and peel the skin. Halve the fruits, stone them and cut them into slices. Peel and chop onions and garlic. Peel and finely grate ginger

    Heat the oil in a large pot. Sauté the onions and garlic until transparent. Bring to the boil with prepared ingredients, sugar, vinegar, mustard seeds and salt. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes. Then let it boil down without cover for about 15 minutes. Stir more often

    Season the chutney again. Pour into clean glasses and close them
