Pizza with figs & bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 Basic recipe pizza dough (see recipe of the same name)
  • 1 Basic recipe tomato sauce (see recipe of the same name)
  • 250 g Buffalo mozzarella
  • 10 discs Bacon
  • 4 TSP good olive oil
  • 4 fresh figs
  • 50 g Lamb's lettuce
  • baking paper

Directions

    Prepare pizza dough and tomato sauce. Cut mozzarella into slices. Cut bacon slices in half crosswise.

    Form a small ball of pizza dough into a round (approx. 22 cm Ø) pizza. Spread with about 1/4 tomato sauce. Cover with 1/4 each of mozzarella and bacon.

    Put it on the pizza stone or the baking tray. Bake in a hot oven on the pizza stone for 6-8 minutes, on the baking tray for 12-13 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with 1 tsp. oil. Bake 3 more pizzas from the remaining ingredients.

    In the meantime, wash the figs, dab dry and cut into slices. Clean, wash and shake the salad dry. Spread figs and lettuce on the finished pizzas.
