Sweet potatoes peel, wash and cut into 1-2 cm thick slices. Peel and slice shallots and garlic
Bring vinegar, sugar and 1/2 litre water to the boil. Season with mustard seeds, laurel, shallots and garlic. Boil the potatoes in it for about 15 minutes. Wash, halve, core and dice the apple. Add after about 10 minutes and cook. Pour everything with the hot liquid into prepared glasses. Tastes good as a side dish with short roasted meat and fish
