Boil the egg hard in about 10 minutes. Peel and finely dice the onion. Clean, wash and cut the bell peppers into strips. Wash and quarter tomatoes, scrape out seeds and cut into slices.
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and peppers. Add the strained tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Rinse, peel and cut the eggs into six. Add tomato slices to the vegetables. Season with salt, pepper and Tabasco.
Admit ice crevices. Roast sesame seeds in a pan and sprinkle over the ragout before serving. Garnish with basil. Serve with 1 slice of whole grain toast.
