Naan bread with yeast

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 75 ml Milk
  • 1/2 TABLESPOON Sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON Dry yeast
  • 250 g Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sunflower oil
  • 75 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour

Directions

    Warm the milk lukewarm. Mix milk, sugar and yeast. Let rest for about 25 minutes. Mix flour and 1/2 tsp. salt in a bowl. Add yeast milk, oil, yoghurt and egg and knead to a smooth, supple dough.

    Let the dough rise for about 1 hour in a warm place, covered.

    Lightly knead the dough and form into 6 balls of the same size. Leave to rest for a short time. Roll out into thin flat cakes on a floured work surface. Heat an uncoated pan. Fry the flat cakes for about 2 minutes on both sides.
