Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp (3 g) Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 2 discs Wholemeal toast (approx. 30 g each)
  • 2 stem(s) fresh or slightly dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon (10 g) ripened cream
  • 1 knife tip Vegetable broth
  • 1 TEASPOON sauce thickener

Directions

  1. 1

Clean and wash the mushrooms and, depending on size, halve or quarter them. Peel and chop the onion and garlic

  2. 2

Heat the oil in a coated pan. Sauté the onion and garlic until transparent. Add the mushrooms and fry for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper

  3. 3

Toast bread. Wash and pluck the thyme. Add 5-6 tablespoons water, cream, broth and thyme to the mushrooms. Bring everything to the boil and stir in the sauce thickener. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cut bread diagonally in half and serve with the mushrooms

  4. 4

This is how to do it without a toaster: roast the slices of bread in the coated pan without additional fat. For an extra portion of vitamin C: sprinkle the fried mushrooms with plenty of chopped parsley
