Soak rolls in cold water. Peel onion and garlic and dice finely. Squeeze the bread roll. Knead the onion and garlic with the egg and the roll under the minced meat.
Season with salt and pepper and form into 4 meatballs. Heat the fat. Fry the meatballs for 10-15 minutes while turning. Add crème fraîche and caviar before serving. Garnish with dill.
