Ingredients

  • 1 Bread roll (from the previous day)
  • 3 small onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 750 g mixed minced meat
  • 2 Eggs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 200 g Sheep's cheese
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 500 g Cutting beans
  • 1 jar(s) (425 ml; 250 g trimmed weight) Kidney Beans
  • 1 (250 ml) Bottle of gipsy sauce
  • 6 Stem(s) Thyme
  • 3 Stem(s) Parsley

Directions

    Soak rolls in cold water. Peel and finely dice 2 onions and garlic. Knead minced meat, squeezed out roll, eggs, onion and garlic cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Dice 2/3 of the sheep's cheese and add to the minced mass. Form an oval loaf from the minced meat.

    Spread 2 tablespoons of oil on the fat pan of the oven and place the loaf on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 45-55 minutes. Crumble the remaining sheep's cheese and sprinkle over the roast about 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time. In the meantime, clean, wash and cut the cutting beans into pieces. Blanch in boiling salted water for about 8 minutes. Drain kidney beans, rinse cold and drain. Peel the rest of the onion and chop finely. Drain the beans and let them drain. Sauté diced onion in the remaining hot oil until translucent. Add sliced and kidney beans. Pour on gypsy sauce and bring to the boil once. Wash herbs, dab dry and chop.
