Marzipan waffles with berry sauce

Ingredients

  • 500 g frozen mixed berries
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON Cornstarch
  • 100 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 150 g soft butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 coated Tsp Baking Powder
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

    Boil 250 g berries, 150 ml water and 75 g sugar in a pot. Mix starch with 2 tablespoons of water until smooth, stir into the berry mixture and simmer for about 1 minute. Fold 250 g berries into the berry sauce. Leave to cool. Meanwhile

    Finely grate the marzipan. Cream butter, 50 sugar, grated marzipan and salt. Stir in the eggs one by one. Mix flour and baking powder. Alternately stir in the flour mixture with the milk. Heat up the waffle iron and lightly grease.

    Bake 6 waffles one after the other. Whip the cream until stiff and allow the vanilla sugar to trickle in. Arrange berry sauce, cream and waffles in glasses. Decorate with fresh mint. Serve dusted with icing sugar
