Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 100 g Cheddar cheese
  • 250 g Self-Raising Floor
  • 60 g + 2 tablespoons butter
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1/4 (approx. 250 g) Head white cabbage
  • 2 small onions
  • 500 g Minced beef
  • 150 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour

Directions

  1. 1

Grate cheese. Knead self-raising flour, 60 g butter, milk, 1 pinch of salt and cheese to a dough. Chill the dough. Clean, wash and cut cabbage into strips. Peel onions and cut into cubes.

  2. 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large frying pan and sauté the onions. Add minced meat and fry for about 3 minutes. Add cabbage and fry again for about 2 minutes. Deglaze with Worcestershire sauce, let it gel, season with salt and pepper

  3. 3

Pour the minced meat mixture into an ovenproof casserole dish. Knead the dough with floured hands again. On a floured work surface, roll out to a thickness of approx. 1.5 cm and cut out a total of 10 circles (each 6 cm Ø), kneading the dough again and again. Place the dough circles close together on the minced meat mixture. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes. Take out and serve
