Iced mint and lime tea

Ingredients

  • 4 Stem(s) Peppermint
  • 1 Bag of peppermint tea
  • 1 TEASPOON demerara sugar
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lime Syrup
  • 7-10 Tbsp Ice cube

Directions

    Wash mint, shake dry. Put tea bag, 2 mint stems and sugar in a tall glass, pour 200 ml of hot water over it. Leave to infuse for 5-8 minutes.

    Pour mint tea through a sieve. Rinse lime hot, dab dry and cut off 1 slice. Squeeze the rest of the lime. Stir lime juice and syrup into the mint tea. Let it cool down.

    Place the remaining mint stems, lime slices and ice cubes in a glass. Fill up with mint and lime tea.
