If you just can't make it to the diner or a Swedish furniture store, you can simply make your own hot dog.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of (4 pieces; 300 g) Baguette Bread rolls for ready baking
  • 4 Hot dog sausages (approx. 50 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 75 g Iceberg lettuce
  • 100 g Danish cucumber salad (glass)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Remoulade sauce "Danish style"
  • 4 TSP Tomato ketchup
  • 4 TSP medium hot mustard
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Roasted onions

Directions

    Bake baguettes in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 10 minutes according to package instructions.

    In the meantime, heat the sausages for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, clean and wash the salad, dab dry and cut into fine strips. Drain the cucumbers.

    Take the rolls out of the oven, let them cool down a little and cut them lengthwise. Remove the sausages from the water. First add tartar sauce, then cucumber, sausages, ketchup and mustard to the rolls. Spread the salad and roasted onions on top.
