Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2–3 Tomatoes
  • 2 balls of mozzarella cheese (approx. 125 g each)
  • 3-4 Stem(s) Basil
  • 4 rustic baguette rolls (approx. 100 g each)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Basil Pesto
  • 8 discs Serrano ham (approx. 15 g each)

Directions

    Wash, clean and slice the tomatoes. Cut cheese into slices. Wash basil, shake dry, remove leaves

    Cut open the buns. Spread the lower half of the cut surface with pesto, cover with ham, tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. Place the upper half of the roll on top, press down a little

    Grill in the preheated contact grill ("sandwich stage", low heat) for 3-5 minutes. Or fry in a pan on both sides for 2-3 minutes each, weighting down with a heavy pan. Remove the panini, halve if necessary and serve
