Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 750 ml Tangerine juice (freshly squeezed or bottle)
  • 600 ml apple juice
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 2 Star Anise
  • 3 Carnations
  • 2 Cardamom Capsules
  • 2 TABLESPOONS liquid honey
  • 6 dried apple slices for garnishing

Directions

    Cut the vanilla pod in half lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Heat the mandarin and apple juice and all the spices together with the vanilla pulp and pod in a pot on a low heat, but do not boil. Let it stand for about 10 minutes, sweeten with honey. Pour through a fine sieve and serve hot. Garnish with apple slices.
