Hazelnut-Cranberry-Muesli bars

Ingredients

  • 200 g Hazelnut kernels
  • 200 g Oatmeal
  • 200 g dried cranberries
  • 130 g Butter
  • 120 g liquid honey
  • 200 g baked muesli
  • 30 g Flour
  • 1 Protein (size M)
  • baking paper

Directions

    Coarsely chop the nuts and roast them in a pan without fat until golden brown. Take out and let cool down. Roast oat flakes as well. Coarsely chop cranberries

    Melt the butter and mix it with honey in a large bowl until smooth. Add oat flakes, muesli, flour, nuts and cranberries and mix well. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture

    Pour the muesli mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Form into a rectangle (L: 30 cm x W: 20 cm x H: 2 cm). Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 25 minutes until slightly browned and pressure-resistant. Allow to cool for approx. 10 minutes, then cut into 20 bars (each approx. 4 x 10 cm)
