Grilled Bruschetta alla Saltimbocca (slice of bread topped with tomato and sage and wrapped in ham)

  • 4 Stem(s) Sage
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 12 discs Ciabatta bread (approx. 30 g each)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 12 discs Parma ham (approx. 7 g each)

Directions

    Wash sage, shake dry and pluck leaves from the stems. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into 6 slices. Drizzle the ciabatta slices with olive oil. Cover with 1-2 tomato slices and sage leaves.

    Season with pepper. Wrap each with a slice of ham. Place on a hot grill and grill for 2-4 minutes on each side.
