Ingredients

  • 375 g Potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 Stalk leek (leek)
  • 50 g Cheddar cheese
  • 8 Prawns (approx. 40 g each)
  • 1 egg (weight class 4)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter or margarine
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of lemon juice
  • 1 bag of lobster sauce
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 3 TABLESPOONS White wine
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS dry brandy
  • 7-10 Tbsp limes, fresh herbs and olives
  • 7-10 Tbsp Paprika

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and cook them in salted water for about 20 minutes. In the meantime peel garlic and press it through a garlic press. Clean and wash the leek and cut it into fine rings. Grate cheese. Peel the prawns, remove the intestines, wash and pat dry. Press the hot potatoes through a garlic press or mash them finely with a potato masher.

    Knead leek, cheese and egg in it. Season with salt and pepper. Form small cookies. Shortly before serving, fry in 1 tablespoon of hot fat in a coated pan for approx. 4 minutes, turning carefully. Fry garlic in hot oil. Fry the prawns for about 4 minutes. Season with salt and lemon juice. For the sauce, mix 150 ml water and cream. Add the remaining fat. Bring to the boil while stirring constantly. Season with white wine and brandy. Arrange potato cookies, sauce and prawns on plates.
