Flour. Knead fat, sugar, cinnamon and salt to a smooth dough. Cover and chill for about 1 hour. Roll out the dough thinly on a floured work surface. Cut out stars (approx. 6 cm Ø) with a cookie cutter.
Place on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10-12 minutes in succession. Leave to cool on a kitchen grid. Chop the chocolate coating and melt on a hot water bath.
Mix the jelly well. Place 1 teaspoonful of the jelly in the middle of each star. Place the giotto balls on top. Pour the chocolate coating into a freezer bag, cut off a small corner. Decorate the stars with it. Makes about 60 pieces.
